Nutrition is more than carbohydrates, proteins, and fats

Breakout Description:

This session will help teachers think of novel ways to teach about nutrition and meet the nutrition components of the new health standards. We’ll talk about ways to use technology to get students to practice healthy nutrition habits, how to talk about weight and the obesity epidemic without ignoring the risks of eating disorders, and how to help students develop nutrition literacy that will serve them through life.
