Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) students are afforded the right to learn in settings that are inclusive of their experiences and that give them the education necessary to stay safe and healthy. In this session, health educators will be provided with guidance and resources to ensure that all students are seen and validated in their health education classes.

Holly Bell
Holly is the Equity and Advocacy Specialist for the Utah State Board of Education. She is a passionate advocate for educational equity and strives to protect the rights of underrepresented and marginalized students. Her background is in school counseling. She has presented statewide to educators, providing resources and guidance about how to best serve the LGBTQ+ student population.
