This breakout session will explore the revised draft of the Health Education Standards. Attendees will get to see and discuss the new standards, ask questions, and collaborate together. The new standards are shorter and have vertical alignment each grade, beginning in Kindergarten. Teachers should find there is less repeat in these standards and the total number of standards is significantly shorter, which should aid in the ability to teach them in the time-frame given to Health Education.
